HAWES HOUSE

Designed by architect James Knox, this beautiful Tudor Revival house dates to 1928 and features a number of historically significant features, including a hand-hewn limestone fireplace surround, in-wall plaster reliefs of shorebirds in tall grass, and original gum wood doors. Located in the historic Woodsshire neighborhood in Lincoln, Nebraska, this home recently went under a total renovation to update all interior systems and fortify the interior and exterior surfaces to ensure the home’s survival into the 21st century.
